Our self-storage units are most often used for medium to long term storage but can be booked online for as little as a month.
AAA Storage offers the security that you need to ensure only you have access to your storage unit. You will need to provide your own padlock. This ensures you have control over who accesses your unit. Entry to our facility is via a unique Pin code. This code must be used to enter and exit the storage facility. All units are individually alarmed to ensure no unauthorised access.
After you have made a booking, please allow up to 24 hours to move in. Our facility is one of the few in the local area that offers access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our facility features an electronic telescopic gate with individual pin code access and is well-lit after hours. You can access your belongings at any time, night or day, without notice.
Costs are based on the size of the unit you choose and length of time you plan to use the storage facility. Our costs are clearly displayed upfront when you book online. We charge a one-off security deposit of $50.00 with every booking.
Our storage agreement specifies items that cannot be stored. You should read this and the terms and conditions carefully. You will note you are not permitted to store hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, flammable, perishable, environmentally harmful or explosive goods. If you have highly valuable possessions, you must arrange your own insurance. Check the terms and conditions of your home and contents policy and notify your insurer or take out appropriate insurance for your valuables. Please note, equipment such as lawnmowers, chainsaws and motor bikes, must have empty fuel tanks.
Most items can be stored. As long as you have packed and sealed your items correctly, they will be safe and secure for the long term. Some household items such as refrigerators and computer equipment need to be prepared for long term storage. Please see our Hints and Tips page on how to store every-day household items.
The majority of our units are approximately 6m x 3m with extra high ceilings. They all provide safe indoor, lockable storage. We also have a small number of units that are approximately 3m x 3m. The availability of our units will be displayed when you book online. Use our easy Space Calculator to work out what size storage unit you will require.
Our brand new storage facility offers state-of-the-art security including 24 hour CCTV security monitoring, individually alarmed units, security fencing, unique pin code access by electronic gate and after hours lighting. All entry and exit events are logged and recorded. It is a condition of storage, that you provide your own padlock for your individual unit(s) to ensure no unauthorised access.
The facility does not take responsibility for items you choose to store. Most household and business items may already be covered under your standard insurance policy. You should check the terms and conditions of your home and contents insurance and notify your insurer. Most insurers will be happy to add extra cover for goods held in storage over a specific time frame. Your insurance company will be happy to know our storage facility has the most up to date security features to ensure your belongings are safe and secure 24/7. Valuable items such as large equipment, jewellery or collections should have their own insurance cover. Although we have fitted our facility with the latest in security and safety technology, accidents can happen, which is why we encourage you to insure your goods even though we have excellent security.
No. We do not have any lock in contracts. You can cancel at any time by giving the appropriate notice. You will only be charged for the time used. Please refer to the Storage Agreement for full terms and conditions.
AAA Storage is a member of the SSAA which is an industry body that represents self-storage providers. Members of the SSAA must comply with a member code of ethics. We also have access to the many resources and networks offered by the association.
Our storage facility is fitted with security features that are second to none, meaning you can relax knowing your items are safe and secure at all times.
AAA storage is locally owned and operated. You can feel confident that the person you are dealing with is the owner of the business.
It is best to pack your belongings before you move. Your removalist may be able to assist with boxes and packing supplies. Alternatively, you can source a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies from outlets such as Bunnings or Officeworks. Check online or in store for boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, or any other packing supplies you may need. Don’t forget to pick up a padlock while you are there!
